Dr. Kayla Hiland was born and raised in Sylvania, AL. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After spending her first few years practicing in Denver, Colorado, she returned to her hometown on Sand Mountain.
She lives in Rainsville with her husband, Lee, their 1-year-old daughter, Eleanor, and their two cats, Malcolm and Frankie. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, and reading a good book.
Dr. Hiland has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She values building lasting client relationships and working together to keep pets healthy through every stage of life.
